Sometimes eating breakfast just doesn’t seem appealing. By the time I am hungry, it will mess up my whole eating schedule if I have a full meal. A quick protein shake is the perfect solution. It is a much better choice than a bag of chips anyway.
This shake uses protein powder purchased from Lindberg nutrition, but you can substitute any one you like or can find. The Designer Whey brand taste like real chocolate and strawberry without a chalky texture or chemically aftertaste.
- 2 c water
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 1 scoop strawberry protein powder
- 1 banana
- ¼ c. yogurt
- ¼ c milk
Place water, chocolate protein powder, strawberry protein powder, banana, and yogurt into a blender with smoothie setting. Cover and hit “smoothie”. When the blender finishes, add milk and pulse the blender until the milk is even mixed.
Makes 2 large smoothies.
