Ingredients:
- Spices
- 1 T chili powder
- 1 T paprika
- 1 t cumin
- 1 t mace
- 1 t turmeric
- 1 T parsley
- 1 T oregano
- 1 T oil
- 2 chicken breasts cut into strips
- 1 T minced garlic
- 1 onion sliced into strips
- 1 red pepper
- 1 yellow pepper
- 1 green pepper
- 2 T lemon juice
- 1/4 c water
- Lettuce
- Salsa
- Queso fresco
- Flour Tortillas
Combine spices in a small bowl. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, garlic, and 1/4 of the spice. Saute until no longer pink. Add onions and peppers along with the rest of the spices, lemon juice, and water. Stir and cover. Cook until onions and peppers are desired tenderness.
Serve rolled in a tortilla with lettuce, salsa, and cheese. Makes 10 burritos.
