I love the crock pot. It is the only way to have a great, hot, home-cooked meal ready and waiting for me when I get home from work.
- 5 lbs. beef
- 8 oz. mushrooms. Chopped into bite sized pieces
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 t beef bouillon
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 T parsley
- 1/2 c red wine
- 1 c sour cream
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 12 oz. egg noodles
In a crock pot, place beef, mushrooms, onions, beef bouillon, garlic, parsley, and wine. Cook on low for 8-10 hours depending on your crockpot settings.
When there is 30 minutes left. Boil water to cook the egg noodles according to the directions on the package.
When the crockpot finishes, add sour cream and cream cheese to the beef and stir to mix thoroughly.
Serve beef on top of noodles.
