Strawberry cupcakes are great any time of year, but they are particularly festive on Valentine’s day.
- 1 box Pillsbury strawberry cake mix
- 1 c water
- 1/2 c oil
- 3 eggs
- 14 oz. whipped vanilla frosting
- Heart shaped sprinkles or regular sprinkles
Follow directions on the box.
Combine cake mix, water, oil and eggs into a mixing bowl. With an electric mixer, beat on medium speed until smooth.
Prepare a cupcake pan by placing cupcake wrappers into 18 spaces. Scoop 1/4 c of batter into 18 cupcakes.
Bake for 18 to 23 minutes at 350 degrees
Frost with whipped vanilla frosting
Decorate with sprinkles.
