This is a deliciously easy dessert to impress your guests. The cake mix absorbs the peach syrup to make a gooey filling that is crispy on top.
- 3 – 29oz cans yellow peaches in heavy syrup
- 2 boxes yellow cake mix
- 1cup (2 sticks) butter, chilled
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Pour peaches and syrup into a 13x 18 pan. Sprinkle cake mix on top. Spread the mix to completely cover the peaches, but do not stir.
Thinly slice the butter. This is easier if the butter is chilled. Place the sliced butter on top of the cake mix. Cover as much of the cake mix as you can.
Sprinkle the top with cinnamon.
Place the cake into the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
